How long should I stand at my desk each day?

Research — including guidance supported by the Get Britain Standing campaign - recommends 2 to 4 hours of standing across your working day, accumulated in 20-45 minute intervals. Do not stand continuously. Alternate between sitting and standing every 30-45 minutes. If you are new to standing at work, start with 20-30 minutes per session and build gradually over two to three weeks. Pairing your desk with an anti-fatigue mat reduces foot and leg fatigue.

What height should my standing desk be set to?

Your standing desk height is correct when your elbows are at approximately 90 degrees, your wrists are neutral when typing, and your monitor sits at eye level with your neck relaxed. For most people the correct standing height falls between 95cm and 115cm. Stand upright with shoulders relaxed, measure from the floor to your bent elbow, and set the desk to that height. Can a standing desk help with back pain?

Employers are legally obligated to conduct DSE assessments for regular screen users. A sit-stand desk is one of the most common recommendations to arise from a DSE assessment.

Is it better to stand or sit at work?

Neither is optimal alone - the evidence supports movement variety over either fixed posture. Sitting all day increases cardiovascular risk, back pain and metabolic issues. How long does delivery take?

Most standing desk orders are despatched within 2-3 working days, with delivery typically within 5-7 working days from order date. What is the warranty period?

How do I return or exchange a product?

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact our support team by email or phone with your order number and a description of the issue. Where possible, include photos or a short video of the fault. We aim to resolve warranty issues without requiring you to return the desk.

What is your returns policy?

You may return a Yo-Yo DESK® purchase within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the item is unused and in original packaging. To begin a return: (1) Contact our support team. What if my desk arrives damaged?

Inspect all items on delivery and note any damage on the courier's delivery record before signing.
